friday fancys | insta - spiration

Raise your hand if you love Instagram!  *raises [both] hands* I follow many design 'grams to keep my mind working even when I'm just doing my morning "scroll". I find myself taking screen shots from many and putting them into a special folder called insta-spiration - helps keep me organized. When I find myself stuck in a design rut, I just pull up my special little album and pull some ideas that way:)  Does anyone do things like this or is this another weird quirk of mine...?  I [currently] am following a total of 426 instagramers on my personal Insta - these are a few of my favorites (among many others).  @theeverygirl  I really don't want to try and sell this one too much because they also have a blog and I'm afraid you all would leave me for this gal...  So with that being said... it's an  okay  'gram I guess;)  I mean they've got some nice pics of styling and design. Bathroom Overhaul!

When we purchased our house the bathrooms were heinous - I wouldn't even step foot into them. They were so bad, I had my uncle replace the downstairs toilet before he did anything [upstairs] because otherwise I would have no where to go throughout the upstairs renovations. Something in a run down insane asylum..  As you can see, this bathroom has ZERO function. You basically run into the tub when you walk in the door, you're leaning over a counter to get the sink,  you have to hop in order to see yourself in the mirror and a real ceiling fan as a fart fan- really? Okay we need to exec...

friday fancys | let's take a trip!

Phew! We made it:)  I don't know about you, but I am ready for a vacation! I am sick of this snow..  Unfortunately, I don't have one scheduled from work until May - a girl can dream ;)  This is me at the beach.. I have had my fair share of trips in my life - Florida, Texas, Colorado, ALL of the East Coast (awesome trip BTW!), etc.  I still have a few places that I have yet to visit, though... 1. Seattle  My love for coffee has pushed me to want to visit here - as well as 50 Shades of Grey...  I think there is so much here to see - it would not disappoint :) A friend of mine was here earlier this week and I was so jealous as she sent photos of her site seeing!  2. Portland I feel like Portland is very similar to Seattle, but it still deserves its own spot on the list:) I feel it would just be such a "chill" trip.  Here is a nice demonstration of a comparison of the two: ...
