Well it's been pretty damn long since I've given you guys any good stuff lately. I failed miserably at the OCD challenge last year and for that I am sorry. BUT we are back in action and we have decided to stick with working on one room at a time but not necessarily finish in a month's time. This really allows us to focus on one space and pay attention to every detail and really perfect it. The first project of the year was the main bathroom. You may be saying "Hey, didn't she already do that one?" . Yes. Yes we did. I am a perfectionist and I knew it needed to be done again. I wasn't happy with the wall color and there were too many unfinished projects in the space. It was somewhat embarrassing when we had guests over and it looked like a Sundance film production office (whatever that looks like, I just made that up) exploded in there. So it is December already and I have pretty much failed at my 2016 challenge of focusing on one room a month.. I would love to say that I have been doing some really important things and that is the reason I have failed at blogging regularly but alas, that is not the case. I have been extra lazy and have started and not finished several projects in the house.. For instance, we recently painted and rearranged our bedroom. Since we moved in, this room had no trim on some of the walls and crappy trim on the remaining walls. I always feel like finishing touches are the things that make the space. So, we re-trimmed the bedroom and it's awesome! It finally feels about 70% finished. In all of our apartments, our bedroom was the last thing (if ever) to get attention. It felt like a hodge podge of furniture and bedding. I have long wanted a master like in the movies or magazines.
