now that I got your attention... . . . It's been a long time comin' but we are finally expecting grass! We check each day the progress of our little baby blades - we're such giddy parents it's embarrassing.. We show everyone that comes over - I even showed the garage door guy! This is what I plan to do once the grass fills in:) Last week we took the week off to solely focus on the yard. We spread grass seed, we transplanted bushes and peonies (!), and we got poison ivy... I thought I had gotten off scot -free but I had a little bump poke up last night. Dang. We were lucky enough to have my wonderful aunt come over and kick us into high gear - unfortunately we paid her in poison ivy as well.. She's being a great sport about it though:) What actually inspired me when planning out what to put in the yard and all the surrounding beds was my wedding bouquet!
